'Nautilus'
blown and sculpted glass, 2010
This “spacecraft” was a part of a show called 'Friendly Fire' at the 1305 Gallery in Cincinnati. The show was a satire of apocalyptical 2012 (non) events, and the piece was inspired by the Nautilus, the fictional submarine captained by Nemo in Jules Verne’s novel Twenty Thousand Leagues Under The Sea (one of my favorite childhood books).
